GETTING STARTED  
MAIN UNIT INSTALLATION  
For continuous use of projector, install adapter.  
Plug AC/DC adaptor into socket. Make sure the  
adapter is not obstructed and is easily accessible  
to the unit.

To completely disconnect from power, the adapter  
should be disconnected from the main unit.

exposed to wet conditions. No objects filled with liquid,  
such as vases, should be placed on the main unit and

Insert batteries:  
1. Remove the battery compartment cover.  
2. Insert the batteries, matching the polarities.

1. Slide open the battery door.  
2. Slide channel switch to channel 1.  
3. Select EU/UK. (RTHN318D only)  
4. Insert the battery, matching the polarities (+ / -).  
5. Press RESET after each battery change.

Place the sensor within 30 m (100 ft) of the main  
unit.  
Place the sensor out of direct sunlight and  
moisture.  
Position the sensor so that it faces the main unit,  
minimizing obstructions such as doors, walls and  
furniture.

NOTE After every sensor initialisation, the main unit  
may take up to 30 minutes to receive the time from  
the sensor.  
TIP The transmission range may vary depending  
on many factors. You may need to experiment with  
various locations to get the best results.  
NOTE Use alkaline batteries for longer usage and  
consumer grade lithium batteries in temperatures  
below freezing.  
8. Secure the sensor in the desired location using the  
wall mount hole or double sided adhesive tape.

automatically with

provided remote sensor.  
To enable / disable signal reception:  
Press and hold UP to enable or DOWN to disable  
signal reception.

weak, it can take up to 24 hours to get a valid signal.

To set the alarm:  
1. Slide ALARM ON-OFF switch to ON.  
2. Press and hold ALARM SET.  
3. Press UP / DOWN to change the settings.  
4. Press ALARM SET to confirm.  
NOTE Clock reception is dependent on the successful  
transmission of data from remote sensor. If is  
displayed, press RESET on sensor and press UP and  
DOWN together on the main unit and ensure sensor  
has been successfully logged.

Slide ALARM ON-OFF switch to ON / OFF.  
MANUALLY SET CLOCK  
To silence the alarm:  
To set the clock manually, disable the clock signal  
reception first.  
1. Press and hold CLOCK SET.  
2. Press UP / DOWN to change the settings.  
3. Press CLOCK SET to confirm.  
Press SNOOZE to silence it for 8 minutes  
OR  
Press any key to turn the alarm off and activate it  
again after 24 hours.  
The settings order is: time zone, 12/24 hr format, hour,  
minute.  
BAR610P / BAR610PU: Time zone offset sets the  
clock +/- 23 hours from the received clock signal time.  
NOTE If you enter + 1 in the time offset setting, this will  
give you your local time plus one hour. If you are in the

To deactivate projection:  
Slide PROJECTION switch to OFF mode.  
WEATHER FORECAST  
This product forecasts the next 12 to 24 hours of  
weather within a 30-50 km (19-31 mile) radius with a  
75% accuracy.  
To rotate image:  
Turn PROJECTION DIRECTION wheel.  
To flip projected image by 180°:  
Press SNOOZE twice.

NOTE If projection is illuminated, do not look directly

TEMPERATURE  
This special feature gives the user the choice of placing  
the unit horizontally or vertically (3 dimensional options)  
to suit user’s living environment and accommodate  
individual style.  
To toggle temperature unit:  
Press °C / °F.  
PROJECTION  
BACKLIGHT  
This unit projects time and outdoor temperature  
information for your convenience.  
To activate backlight:  
Press SNOOZE.  
For continuous projection:  
Slide PROJECTION switch to ON when adaptor is  
connected, to enable / disable.  
RESET  
Press RESET to return to the default settings.  
To project time and temperature:  
Press SNOOZE when PROJECTION switch is in  
OFF mode.
